Since the announcement of the development of Kingdom Hearts 3 from Square Enix, the internet has been buzzing about the upcoming sequel. Fans who have followed the Kingdom Hearts franchise want to know when the game will be released.
If things continue as they are we could see Kingdom Hearts 3 come out this year, as it has been said that the development is going well. But then we did hear that there was a change of focus and it now looks as though Square Enix are focusing more on Final Fantasy XV.
This has caused followers of Kingdom Hearts 3 to be unhappy with the developer. Yoshinori Kitase, the producer said that this was down to the fact that Final Fantasy XV was further along in development.
This is of course very disappointing for all the fans, but they do have to accept it. Fans now think that there is some rivalry going on between the two franchises, but this is something that has been denied.
Tetsuya Nomura did confirm the delay and he said that the developers are still looking into new directions for kingdom Hearts 3 and they need more time for the development of it.
If Square Enix is going to reveal the launch of Kingdom Hearts 3 then it will be at the E3, which is set for June. Gamers can look forward to something being revealed about the game, if perhaps not the date for release.
