Fans of the highly successful Kingdom Hearts franchise couldn’t take it anymore. They are pleading to Square Enix to at least reveal Kingdom Hearts 3 release date.
This highly anticipated third sequel will be the first Kingdom Hearts game to debut on the next-gen consoles. At the moment, Kingdom Hearts 3 is in development and it is far from completion. On the other hand, there is Tetsuya Nomura and his cronies that keep on teasing the fans.
While it all looks great for Kingdom Hearts 3, fans are in for some heartache. It seems that Square Enix is now putting its attention on the upcoming Final Fantasy XV. Kingdom Hearts producer, Yoshinori Kitase, revealed that Final Fantasy is further in development compared to Kingdom Hearts 3. As such, the company wishes to complete the production quickly before giving Kingdom Hearts 3 its undivided attention.
The statement ignited the idea that there is some sort of rivalry going on between both titles from Square Enix. Kitase immediately denied this and repeated that it is due to the progress achieved and nothing more than that.
Tetsuya Nomura also took the opportunity to shed more light on Kingdom Hearts 3’s progress. The lad revealed that the team of developers are still exploring new ideas for Kingdom Hearts 3.
This confirms that the game won’t be coming anytime soon. Perhaps, the game develop might just reveal the dateline in this year’s E3.
