It has been more than 10 years since we all saw the release of Half Life 2 and fans are growing tired of the wait for Half Life 3. Despite that fact, fans have kept the hype alive by contributing their thoughts and ideas for this highly anticipated third sequel.
Our readers from the Half Life community are no different. Throughout every Half Life’s article, they have been giving out their ideas for Half Life 3. We have compiled the best of them and here is what Valve should add in Half Life 3 to compensate for the decade long wait.
For a start, Half Life 3 should be a long game with more than 13 hours of gameplay. Throughout the game, the cut-scenes should be made more interactive. Instead of watching the film strips, players want to act in them as well.
As for the tools of killing, it the gravity gun is just way too much. Valve should reduce the amount and add in more crowbars.
The Half Life 3 world should replicate, if not, do better than Half Life 2. It is so huge and fans certainly enjoyed the combination of a city, ruined city, shoreline, horrific city and futuristic citadels.
As for the in-game vehicles, the airboat should make a return. It is one of the most awesome things in Half Life and offered plenty of fun as players jump and wall-drive with the vehicle.
Finally, Half Life 3 should be as interactive as possible. Players should be able to leave an impact on the environment with every action they do.
At the moment, these are some of the brightest ideas by our readers. Fans are hoping that Valve will commence the production for Half Life 3 soon as they handle the wait any longer.
