Half Life is one of the biggest games in the gaming industry and they have all been best-sellers and won Game of the Year titles. Now gamers are waiting for the third in the series, which may arrive with the title of Half Life 3.
The wait for Half Life 3 has been a long one, in fact more than a decade but Newell recently spoke up and he did offer gamers some clarification at least about the game.
Digital Journal said that they had seen a statement that came from the co-founder which suggests that Half Life 3 isn’t being developed at the moment. Newell said that there was a whole lot more to Valve than just Half Life 3 and went on to say that there were many games Valve wanted to develop.
He said that “…the key is to just continue to follow where the customers are leading.” If this is so and he keeps to his word then it shouldn’t be too long before we hear about development of Half Life 3.
The series of Half Life has been in competition with Call of Duty and Halo, they have delivered a FPS that is unique as players have to beat off an alien invasion.
