Half Life 3 Hasn’t Budge From The Starting Line Yet & Here’s Probably Why

Gamers who have played the Half Life franchise have been waiting for a decade to hear about Half Life 3 and they are getting close to their wits end. Some gamers are asking why the wait for the game has been so long.

Valve hasn’t made anything official about the game but fans have still been talking about it. They have discussed the many reasons why Valve might have put Half Life 3 on hold.

Some gamers have said that it may be down to the game developer having got stuck with the storyline. In Half Life gamers had to escape from City 17. In the sequel to it they had to destroy the portal of the combine to reveal the borealis. So perhaps Valve is now stuck, Valve will need to be innovative as they have to keep up the reputation of the game and below par ideas will not cut it.

There has also been talk about Valve developing the Source 2 engine, of course it does take a long time for the creation of a new game engine and so everything else could be on hold.

Valve is working on the Steam Box and this is going to be the future gaming console of Valve and it will be a milestone for them. The project needs a great deal of work and so Half Life 3 could have been pushed to the back.

Valve may be about to reveal some information about Half Life 3 or otherwise fans could give up on the game altogether.
