Physically, Gabe Newell is a huge man. The co-founder of Valve is among the legends in the gaming industry for developing the Half Life series. However the fans have been kept waiting for a decade to see a third sequel coming to this successful franchise.
Despite Newell’s size, the lad is able to evade every question on Half Life 3 thrown at him. The latest Reddit AMA session was thought to be the best opportunity for fans to get some bits and pieces on Half Life 3 but they were let down. Gabe Newell apparently ignored every Half Life related questions.
Heck, it isn’t only with Half Life. Both Portal 2 and Left 4 Dead 3 are also kept a secret. With all the leaks that has surfaced over the years on Half Life 3, it won’t be long until the co-founder admits defeat and spill the beans.
Gamerheadlines confirmed this claiming that the Source 2 engine is near its completion. A brand new game engine will require a AAA game to demonstrate its prowess and Half Life 3 is the best candidate for it.
As such, the Half Life community should keep their hopes up as Half Life 3 will definitely get released someway or somehow.
