Ok, so we’re not going to mentioned ‘Half Life 3 confirmed’ in the title of our posts anymore as it seems to have the opposite effect. You would immediately assume that it is fake news should any story use the ‘c’ word. So instead let’s just lay down the facts of the findings.
Redditor eKim1 has posted links to the internal bug tracker for Valve Software and in it there are references to HL3. Once you open the drop down box at “in group”, you can scroll down to Half Life 3.
What’s also surprising is that there is now a Half Life 3 core group there as well. Now this is how Left For Dead 3 was first outed last year and at that time there was no Half Life 3 core group at this location so it only came about after. Additionally, the last time the Redditor saw it there were 42 assigned, now there are 4 more making it 46.
Now by far this does not mean Half Life 3 is confirmed. What it does suggest though is that the game in in development for some time now. So why isn’t it ready? Maybe Valve hasn’t found the next gravity gun yet!
