It wasn’t that long ago when Gabe Newell got involved in a charity event. The Valve co-founder went too far to raise $500,000 for The Heart of Racing that he offered himself to an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit if that amount is reached.
Well it did and the scheduled online interview session is due today, 1PM PST. It is very obvious that a huge majority of questions will be about Half Life 3. However, things didn’t go as planned since Gabe failed to show up.
The Half Life community are very positive on the matter and assumed that Gabe is probably busy developing Half Life 3 already. Putting yourself in Gabe’s shoes, the co-founder must be really sick of facing the same questions over and over again.
In reality, the cure is with Gabe itself. If he comes clean on the matter, no more questions will be bombarded to the lad. The moment when the co-founder go live on Reddit Ask Me Anything, it will sure be a dramatic forum.
Just like the status of Half Life 3, it is unsure to when the Ask Me Anything will be rescheduled to. After waiting more than 10 years for Half Life 3, the fans are immune and will haunt Gabe until the end of times.
