One of the biggest gaming franchises has been GTA and Rockstar will do everything possible to make sure that it remains this way. GTA 5 has been a huge success even with issues on its arrival and now some players are looking ahead to what GTA 6 might offer them.
With the release of the first GTA game the setting was the US and this is something that has never changed. Rockstar of course do like to make fun of the pop culture of America as everything in the US can be controversial and so will have a place in a GTA game.
While GTA may be a success around the world gamers would like to see GTA 6 set in a different location, but where could this be?
The game shouldn’t have a setting in Asia as this would make it clash with Sleeping Dogs. Perhaps GTA 6 could be set in Europe? But then not every city in Europe would be suitable.
Central Europe along with the Eastern Block would be too cultural, but London could be the ideal location. There are no guns out on the streets of London but there is plenty of organized crime and this would fit in.
When GTA 5 came out it arrived with a map that was huge. The same will apply to GTA 6 and it should arrive on the next gen consoles and perhaps be even larger. London on its own might not work so maybe we could see Paris included too.
There are some people who don’t think Rockstar will go for this. When GTA 4 came out it took gamers back to New York and with GTA 5 the setting was once again in San Andreas. This could suggest that we may be taken back to Vice City in GTA 6. The maps are getting larger with each game and maybe Rockstar could include Orlando in the game too.
GTA 6 will be even better than GTA 5 when it arrives and perhaps fans won’t really care where the settings is.
