GTA 5 PC Version Was Completed First, PS3 & Xbox 360 Followed Later Only?

Rockstar chose to launch GTA 5 on the PS3 and Xbox 360, while PC owners along with owners of the Xbox One and PS4 were left hoping that the game would arrive for their platforms shortly after.

PC owners usually have to wait to get games behind the consoles but it has been said that they are disappointed not to have heard anything about GTA 5 heading their way. They have been making their voice heard but Rockstar has up to now refused to be drawn into making a comment.

This may mean that Rockstar are developing GTA 5 for the PC as if they had no plans to launch GTA 5 on the PC then Rockstar could have just said this from the beginning.

Recently a leak came from CinemaBlend giving gamers a hint about the arrival of the PC version of GTA 5. It seems that a series of dumped data has been seen by way of XML code from the console version of the game. despite the fact that GTA 5 was made for the Xbox 360 it seems that the code was dumped from software on a PC. Outdated hardware in consoles cannot support major additions to what is there already as GTA 5 used the entire console system to run. One finding was in the weather.

The XML code has Blizzard weather and this isn’t in GTA 5 on the Xbox 360 or the PS3. Snow is on the platforms but blizzard is for the PC only. It was said that the coding could not be rendered into the game as GTA 5 utilized all of the console.

This leads us to believe that the other set of codes are for a device that is higher end and this points to the PC. Along with this a common folder has been seen and this holds data for vehicles, weapons, peds and actors. The structure was complete which suggests that all images are in place for the PC.

If this turns out to be true PC owners may not have much longer to wait to play GTA 5 on the PC.
