The 1.09 patch for GTA 5 came out recently, which brought some patches and some extras. This was good fun and brightened the game up for a bit, but the fans are still eager for more, as some are saying that the game is losing some of its fun.
Rockstar seems to have listened to the fans, so the 1.1 update should be great. The studio’s support team has already told us to expect new heists!
The heists are the USP of GTA 5, but they’re restricted to single-player! The missions could also do with a bit more realism – a “plan gone wrong” feature could liven things up and get players thinking on their feet. The Rockstar Support forum is awash with suggestions, and the studio is listening. We hope.
Casinos have been mentioned for GTA Online, so players can win (or lose, more like) more money while having a bit of fun on the side in poker or blackjack. Rockstar already did this is Red Dead Redemption so we know it can be done. There have even been a few leaked DLC files that look casino-related.
Alien invasion is the most outlandish (literally) suggestion. Imagine you’ve had a hard day of crime and you want to get home to regroup. You’re suddenly faced with aliens who make your day even worse. Don’t laugh – there’s a mission in which Trevor nearly has a close encounter! Rockstar has said that it’ll leave a few features and ideas hanging, but that they’ll be brought into future DLCs and patches. So we may see xenomorphs after all!
All great and eminently achievable ideas, so we’ll have to see which ones Rockstar fancies most. After the studio said it’s listening to suggestions, the fans have become more vocal.
