Earlier this week it was said that Titanfall had given sales of the Xbox One a much needed boost over in the UK, while there hasn’t been confirmation it was said that sales shot up by 96% when the mech-style shooting game launched. Now in a new report it has been said that the Xbox One hasn’t been the only console to enjoy a sales boost.
The Editors of MCV UK said that the PS4 has also enjoyed a sales boost even with the fact that it didn’t have Titanfall as the catalyst. It seems that the sales of the PS4 jumped up due to the fact that Sony have been able to get a large amount of additional inventory out to stores.
The sales of the Xbox One jumped by 96% last week, while sales of the PS4 rose by 72.4% Dring posted on Twitter. He said that this was due to stock that had arrived.
Both of the next gen consoles sold well during the early days but the PS4 has been outselling the Xbox One up to now. Sony are selling the consoles as fast as they can be built and shipped and of course they have some big launches coming, one of which is inFAMOUS: Second Son, this Friday.
