It is safe to say that many avid FIFA fans avoided purchasing the latest FIFA 14 and sticks to FIFA 13 as they know that EA will always limit the growth of the game. FIFA 14 might be a major success but it is not a perfect football game.
To appease the huge world of football, there are some things that EA must improve on with the future FIFA 15. We have uncovered 4 major changes which EA should consider and they are as follow.
1. Tournament Mode
It came as a surprise to FIFA 14 players who discovered that the tournament mode was missing from the game. EA claims that it wasn’t popular enough but that is a cheap excuse for excluding such a mode. Not every players like online anyways and without the tournament mode, things are certainly limited.
2. Player Ratings
The idea for needing to scout the players before getting to know their ratings has a lot of potential to it but the execution was rather poor. It turns out to be so much hassle to scout every player in the game. Perhaps, well-known players should not need any scouting and scouts should act independently to give more instantaneous results.
3. Stadiums
It is the age of digital gaming already and there is no need to limit the game to the disc space. More stadiums can now be added and this should happen with FIFA 15. Repetitive stadiums are starting to get boring.
4. Socks/Shorts
The bottom portion of the kit has been rigid and dull for so long now. They are so fixed that at times, both teams on the field features shorts with the same colour. This is a definite no-no and should be changed.
The pointers are out and these are the few of many that deserves some look into. Failing to do so makes it obvious that EA is guilty of trying to leech money from its players. There is no stopping the FIFA movement but making experiments of the game year after year will certainly stir up the fans.
