It is unsure if any of the football fans are still playing FIFA 12. Some analyst felt that the major change in FIFA 13 and 14 has certainly forced all the players on older FIFA titles to play the latest version of the game. At least that is what EA believes.
The game developer recently announced that it will be pulling the plug to FIFA 12 Online tomorrow. Such a move is understandable as the game is already outdated. As we all know, FIFA changes its game every year. The annual release of FIFA is simply to follow the fast-changing trend in the world of football.
Come tomorrow, gamers playing FIFA 12 will no longer be able to participate in the game’s online features. Owners of FIFA 12 can only play the game offline. Of course, that wouldn’t be as much fun as the teams are all outdated.
It is very typical of FIFA to unplug its older titles. There has yet to be a memorable version of the game. It could be due to the fast depleting crowd in FIFA 12 that has triggered this decision. After all, the servers are not cheap to maintain.
