Recently Todd Howard spoke up about the subject of Fallout and the new game, which could have the name of Fallout 4 or not. The director of the game talked about the studio having no idea of the time frame of the game being announced.
He then went on to say that the release would not happen in the near future, which means that those waiting to play it are going to have to be patient for the time being.
He also talked about fans and a website that was fan made and which caused a stir among gamers. It seems that one fan made a teaser domain and some gamers thought that it was to announce the next Fallout game in the series. However this was just a hoax.
The director said that he actually liked the alternate reality game content which had come from the fan made website and said that it was testament to just how far gamers would take things. He then talked about how surprised the development team had been by what fans will actually come up with.
Finally he said that the ARG was very well done and it was testament to fans. He also admitted that it did make the team sit back and wonder why they hadn’t done it.
