Fans of the Fallout series of games waiting to hear about Fallout 4 have formally requested information about development of the game.
Bethesda is keeping quiet about Fallout 4 which has led some fans to lose patience with the developer. Silviu Plousteanu got a petition up asking for an official statement about the existence of Fallout 4. He said “I believe it’s about time Bethesda gives us some hints on Fallout 4,” the change.org petition reads. “After the Survivor hoax and the *intentionally* leaked Fallout 4 script on Kotaku, we NEED to know if Fallout 4 is being made and whether it will be set in Boston or not.”
The frustration surrounding Fallout 4 is understandable. Just last month Kotaku received documents that had been leaked from a casting call that had recently taken place. The documents had many references to Fallout but still Bethesda remained quiet about the subject. There was also the Survior2299 hoax, which could have been the last straw for fans of the series.
“We do not ask for much; just throw us a bone, tell us you’re working on it,” the petition says. “If you’re thinking the same way that I do, please SIGN this petition. You can make a difference!”
Bethesda is not thought to be about to give in just because of a petition. The developer will as usual announce the game when they are good and ready to do so. It is thought that the petition will not overrule plans that have been made by the marketing department at Bethesda.
