Fallout 4: Gamers May Wish To Keep Certain Things A Surprise

There has been a great deal of talk on Reddit about removing red designation from Fallout 4 and there are numerous gamers that seem to be in agreement.

One Redditor said that gamers should be offered the choice of turning off red designation for enemies and said that all people should have one colour. Gamers could roam about the wasteland of Fallout 4 and they would not know who was a friend or who was a foe, just on sight. This would bring with it rewards along with punishments.

The Redditor then went on to give an example of walking the wasteland and then coming upon legion who were some distance away. Now the player could get their gun out and shoot them from a distance, but then they could be deserters. The gamer wouldn’t know unless they had walked up to them and taken a risk.

Right now gamers know the enemy just be looking at them at a distance, which does take something away from the game. At the same time they said that it would make it more fun and would add in some intrigue to the game. Of course this should only be an option for gamers.

It seems that other gamers like the idea and they gave some indication as to how it might work. The barter system could come back to the game along with NPCs having names and more NPCs could be introduced into the game and it would then be more like real life. Perhaps then the player would think twice before they just shot someone in the distance, more so if that person came with a name.
