Activision Shifts Towards Black Ops 3 As COD Ghosts Has Its Limelight

It wasn’t that long ago when Activision released the latest Call of Duty Ghost and the game developer was quick to reveal that the next COD game is already in the works.

The Modern Warfare series is already done and dealt with, leaving COD Black Ops as the ideal title referred to be in the works. COD Black Ops is among the most successful titles in the franchise as it offers players a different gaming experience. Even looking into Black Ops release pattern, it is only right to see COD Black Ops 3 coming early this year.

However, some player hints that Activision might throw in a huge surprise. The Modern Warfare series might look to be over but there is a chance for Modern Warfare 4 to happen. There is a strong possibility as Sledgehammer Games is still working closely with Activision. Sledgehammer Games is the developing team responsible for Modern Warfare 3.

Nevertheless, Activision better do it right this time as players are beginning to become tired of COD. The franchise sales has been on a decline due to the repetitive gameplay it offers. On top of that, the game’s quality is getting flushed down the sewers. Activision should improve on the gameplay and offer players plenty more instead of that hi-tech multiplayer warfare.

Aside from COD, Activision will look to make 2014 a blast. Other titles coming from the game developer this year are Destiny, Skylanders, Hearthstone, Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls and a whole new World of Warcraft content.
