Dragon Age 3 is one of this year’s most anticipate titles from Bioware and when it arrives it will be the first RPG to be released on both the PS4 and Xbox One, but it seems that fans of RPG games are faced with bad news.
The release date has been delayed thanks to the game encountering some hiccups in development. This news comes from the producer of the franchise, Cameron Lee. He said that developers of the game needed more time to make revisions to Dragon Age 3 before its launch.
The developer said that Dragon Age 3 needed a lot of effort putting into it and that the extra time means that developers can touch up the game to improve it. He went on to say that making more races playable requires a lot of work for Dragon Age 3.
Owners of the next gen consoles perhaps wont mind the game being delayed if for a good cause. Gamers know only too well what happens when a game is rushed, they have seen this with games such as Battlefield 4, which arrived with glitches and bugs. The delay of Dragon Age 3 will be worth it if the game arrives minus glitches.
Bioware are set to reveal Dragon Age 3 at the end of this year when the game will run on the newly designed Frostbite engine.
