Here in the US, Ford competes in the pickup truck segment with the F-150. Over at Asia Pacific and Oceana, there is the Ford Ranger. There aren’t many differences between the two but it seems that US pickup truck fans envy the Ranger.
Apparently, this is because the Ford Ranger top-trim model comes with the option of a black Raptor grille. This is evident after an image of a Ranger with the Raptor grille went viral online. Furthermore, the feature is something that most pickup truck enthusiasts would love to have for their F-150 here in the US.
After some careful digging, we realized that the black Raptor grille is common sight, especially in Thailand and Australia. Heck, they even come in many other colours like chrome and such.
With the F-150 going to get updated with a brand new model in the coming months, consumers can only hope that Ford will introduce such a design feature with the upcoming pickup truck.
