Just a couple of weeks back, the Xbox community behave like a bull in a China shop when reports were leaked into the internet suggesting the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghost and TitanFall games to run at only 720p on the Xbox One. The architect behind this whole chaos is known as “Famousmortimer” in which the affected community has labelled as “anti-Xbox” or even “anti-Microsoft”.
The culprit came clean and revealed the reason to how he came to know the native-720p information. Famousmortimer claims that at first he didn’t want to believe so but when he questioned his source further, he got a convincing silence which hinted to be “yes”.
Famousmortimer regretted the article he wrote. On an average day, the articles produced by him will at least come with 2 different sources but this particular article only has one source. He simply put it off by claiming that gaming journalism is fun. Where credibility is concerned, the writer was quick to admit his action was dumb.
With reference to his article, we manage to get a respond from Microsoft’s very own Phil Spencer who refuses to comment further claiming he don’t take account on 3rd party game.
While Famousmortimer can escape the fate of punishment y the Xbox community, Microsoft’s gamers are still having a nail biting moment in fear to it could very well be true.
