We’ve already compared the technical aspects of both the 2014 Mazda 3 and the latest Honda Civic EX. The differences between both compact sedans are narrow but it is still important to get the Mazda 3.
Aside from the SkyActiv technology, there are many things which the Honda Civic EX couldn’t offer to the consumers. First and foremost is comfort. The interior of the Civic EX is so similar to the Prius that is dull and boring. The Mazda 3’s interior, on the other hand, is so rich and premium that it can be compared to the Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
Also, the design features of the Honda Civic are so similar to the Kia. The Mazda 3 is designed to be recognizable without doubts.
Of course, a single design cannot look to appeal every individual. Heck, we are not surprised if some Mazda 3 owners are in love with the Honda Civic EX’s design. Regardless, they will have to stop admiring the rival vehicle as the Mazda 3 has the better powertrain than the Civic EX.
