The Volkswagen Atacama has finally been revealed as a special edition and it is going to be available for £26, 850 and it is a bit of a beastly Touareg truck.
There isn’t much to get excited about if you wanted some of the hard core off the road stuff so that you can go out into the South American desert. However the Volkswagen Atacama had enjoyed some upgrades to the styling and it does offer plenty of extra kit to ensure that the occupants remain comfortable at all times.
The Volkswagen Atacama comes with side decals along with a black bumper on the back and black rear styling bars. It also offers the Cantera 19 inch alloy wheels along with Bi-xenon headlamps and a load bed that is protective coated. The vehicle is going to be offered in blue, white and black.
The interior of the Volkswagen Atacama has been designed with leather upholstery, a steering wheel that offers multi-functions, Bluetooth, dual zone climate control and more.
You can get the Volkswagen Atacama with the 2.0 litre 177bhp BiTDI diesel engine and this has the 6 speed manual along with selectable four wheel drive or eight speed autobox along with a permanent four wheel drive. It is thought that around 500 units of the special edition will be made.
