The recent Paris Motor Show played host to a variety of interesting concept vehicles but among the most outstanding of them all is the Toyota C-HR. The SUV came with a diamond-styled design that is much like the Range Rover Evoque and it left the masses drooling in excitement.
This is certainly an accomplishment for Toyota. The C-HR’s design is described as the future of the company and it looks nothing like any other Toyota vehicles at all.
In detail, the front portion comes with more angular shape where the narrow LED headlights fused together with the grille, which stretches the width of the car. Also, the LED daytime running lights are positioned vertically to enhance the vehicle’s height.
While there is no indication on whether the C-HR will be a brand new line of vehicle, we feel that it will be part of the Toyota Auris’ family. After all, spy shots have revealed a new Auris currently being produced and it does share a lot of similarities in shape and size with the C-HR.
Regardless, Toyota teased that the Concept is powered by a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain that has the same setup with the upcoming Prius. Then again, the C-HR drives on the 4WD system so that it could appeal to a wider audience.
It is unsure on when the C-HR will be completely developed but we feel that the car is bound to arrive before 2017. Once the C-HR make its debut, it will be competing with the Nissan Qashqai and other great compact SUVs in the segment.
