The latest Tesla Model S has bagged many awards for being a really popular luxury EV car and probably the best-looking vehicle in a long time. Unfortunately, the governing body of West Virginia is not aware of this and has hence put a ban on the sales of the Tesla Model S.
It was said that the Tesla Model S is an unproven vehicle hence; this justifies the state to impose a ban on the EV car. Luckily for Tesla, their expansion in West Virginia is still pending to explode and as of right now, Tesla only have three shop outlets in the entire state.
So it is not a big pinch for Tesla and it is also pretty obvious that the government is actually against the method of sales practiced by Tesla. Unlike other carmakers, Tesla doesn’t rely on dealers at all and they request for consumers to pay the same price for a unit without any haggling.
Perhaps, this is why West Virginia finds the Tesla a necessary entity to ban. The EV carmaker is simply breaking the norm of how car selling works and unfortunately, West Virginia couldn’t accept this change.
