Call it bizarre when a software update happens to a car instead of a smartphone or tablet but to Tesla, they take pride in being the first to do so. The EV carmaker based in the US is plotting to launch a software update to every Tesla Model S in a bid to end range anxiety.
Range anxiety is also another word which came out from Tesla and it refers to almost every EV drivers that has the fear of running out of electricity in the worst possible areas.
The update will look to introduce a new software tweak that will aid drivers in understanding the precise driving range of the Tesla Model S at current time. This is particularly helpful and it will no doubt end range anxiety but it is something Tesla should have introduced earlier.
The update will be rolled out on March 19 this week and only then will we know how it works so stay tuned.
