The 2015 MY line-up is already in motion as some carmakers have already released their vehicles recently and more will look to come in the coming months. Apparently, most of them are identified to be SUVs. While we normally tell you what SUV you should get, this time, we wish to advise on the crossovers you should avoid from the 2015 line-up.
1. Jeep Compass
We’ve seen how Jeep created the Renegade to be an off-road madness in a subcompact form. Which is why we were surprised when Jeep launched the Compass that is identical to what the Renegade offered. The gentle look on the Compass is something unfit to be a Jeep.
2. Jeep Patriot
Like how the Compass is identical to the Renegade, the Patriot is exactly like the Jeep Cherokee. On the downside of things, the Patriot is not spacious, accelerates slowly and comes with CVT transmission that does not improve fuel economy at all.
3. Jeep Cherokee (2.4L variant)
The upcoming Cherokee is going to be powered by a 2.4L engine that generates 184hp. Despite that fact, performance does not reflect well and the 2.4L motor struggled to make an impact. You should get the Pentastar V6 instead.
4. Volvo XC-90
Very soon from now, Volvo will be launching the next-gen XC-90. However, there will be one model which maintains the looks from when the SUV was launched ten-years ago. We say, stay far away from it as the sign of aging is already showing.
5. Range Rover Evoque
The all-new Evoque is certainly a dreamy SUV to own. Despite its popularity, style and power, the Evoque has a problem with sustaining reliability. There is always one problem that surfaces every now and then that will cause the Evoque to sleep over at the workshop.
