Ssangyong Gets Aggressive With New XLV SUV Concept

After being acquired by Indian car company, Mahindra, Ssangyong has returned with more aggression. The South Korean car manufacturer now has the funds to make a comeback and they will start with a new 7-seater SUV.

Ssangyong unveiled the concept vehicle back at the last Geneva Motor Show and the vehicle does look promising. The SUV vision is described by the company as “eXciting smart Lifestyle Vehicle.” In short, Ssangyong named the concept the XLV.

The carmaker is dead serious with the XLV as the vehicle is claimed to be one of its core strategic models to underpin its future growth.”

While it may still be in the concept and planning stages, we can expect the XLV to run on the 1.6-liter diesel engine and an electric motor that sucks juice out of a now-commonplace lithium ion battery pack.

We find that the XLV Concept has got its styling neatly done. All that is left to do is to equip the vehicle with a reliable, efficient and powerful engine that will ensure the vehicle’s success.
