Both the Xperia SP and Xperia C are two different smartphones that shares a lot of similarities with each other. This is why we have decided to compare both devices and see which the better of the two is.
By size, it is the Xperia C that is larger. This is due to the fact that the device houses a 5” screen that runs at 960x540p resolution. The SP, on the other hand, has a smaller 4.6” screen that runs 1280 x 720p resolution. This means that the SP is sharper than the C.
Aside from the differences in display, the Xperia C has an FM transmitter, which is absent on the SP. On the other hand, the latter comes equipped with LTE 100 which enables the user to enjoy the fastest possible mobile data speed in the world right now. The C runs on HSDPA where speed is capped at 7.2mbps.
Under the hood, the SP runs on a 1700MHz processor with 8GB of internal storage. This is faster and more spacious than the 1200MHz processor and 4GB of internal storage found on the Xperia C.
These are the only differences found on both the Xperia SP and Xperia C. Judging from the specs above, it is obvious that the Sony Xperia SP is the better device, despite its smaller size.
