Samsung Galaxy S5 Review: Is It Still Good Enough?

The Samsung Galaxy S5 was released earlier this year and it was regarded as the best smartphone to ever come into production this year. With more new phones coming out in recent months, many felt that the S5 is not as special as before.

Well, they might just be wrong. The Samsung Galaxy S5 runs on a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM. This separates the smartphone from the mid-tier devices as it is the latest processing hardware around.

The S5 also sports a 5.1” FHD Super AMOLED screen that runs at 1920x1080p resolution. This is accompanied by a 16MP rear camera and a 2MP front shooter. Furthermore, consumers can choose from the 16GB or 32GB for the internal storage. Heck, the S5 also have support for external microSD memory that is up to 64GB. The S5 draw its power from a long lasting 2800mAh battery.

While the stats above might be impressive, it is no match for other flagship devices like the Sony Xperia Z2 and the LG G3.

However, it is the most functional smartphone around as it comes packed with tons of features like Gesture(IR), Finger Scanner, Heart rate sensor, Download Booster, S Health 3.0, Quick Connect, Private Mode, Kids Mode, IP67 dust and water resistant.
