When Nissan showed off the 2016 Nissan Maxima recently the car came with a brand new look and it seems to have taken its looks from the 2015 Murano SUV. It has looks that are sleek and thanks to the floating roof and the V shaped grille it does take on a more dramatic look. It seems that most of the things from the Sports Sedan concept have made it through to the final production and it is arriving packed with tech and materials that are high quality.
There are different powertrains available on the 2016 Nissan Maxima and they include the V6 3.5 litre engine with Xtronic CVT. This means that you should get better fuel economy but sadly there isn’t a lot more to come from the update.
It was said that the 2016 Nissan Maxima could arrive in a Pathfinder version and this may be the supercharged with a 4 cylinder petrol engine and which offers 250hp. At the moment the market for big sedans isn’t at its best and this allows Nissan to carve themselves a niche. When the car arrives on the market it will be in competition with the Toyota Avalon and the Hydundai Azera.
