Redesigned 2015 Nissan Maxima Kills The Porsche Panamera

Come next year, Nissan will be launching the eight-generation Maxima and it will be something different from its predecessors. This is due to the fact that the next-gen Maxima is going to be a sports sedan, like its concept.

The world can already catch a glimpse of what the Maxima looks like after the first batch of spy shots got leaked online. When viewing the images, car junkies should notice that the Maxima is definitely toned down from the Sports Sedan Concept.

This can be seen even when the test mule is being wrapped under thick camouflage. The Maxima in the images has a smaller grille that is not as bold as the ones on the concept. Size-wise, it looks smaller than the Altima.

Of course, there is no telling on the sort of powertrain coming with the next-gen Maxima. Nevertheless, we can expect it to be powered by a 3.5L V6 engine mated to a CVT transmission. Furthermore, the car could be offered with a hybrid system consisting of 2.5L 4-cylinder.

Above all that, the Nissan Maxima test mule already looks better than the Porsche Panamera. With the right set of engines running the car, the upcoming Maxima will surely be much better than the Panemera.
