The latest Porsche Macan might look like a smaller Cayenne Turbo but under the hood, it performs better than its sibling. On the other hand, there is the Range Rover Evoque which has been a dominant in the SUV industry. Which of the two is better?
The Macan is s still pretty new in the market and it is already getting all the attention. The car runs on a diesel engine which is surprising when Porsche calls it an SUV sports car. Inside both vehicles, the Evoque is truly a work of art. The latter is able to offer comfort and everything in the car is well organized.
Looks aside, it is the Macan that offers more thrill. The SUV runs on the 254bhp 3.0-litre V6 diesel. This is obviously faster than the 187bhp 2.2-litre engine offered by the Evoque. Of course, the Macan cost £1,795 more than its counterpart.
However, the Macan is still far from being an off-road vehicle. The car comes with air-suspensions that can be tweaked but it is not enough to handle the harsh outdoor terrain. This is where the Evoque excel. It was able to take on 80% inclines and many other environments.
All in all, we will have to name the Range Rover Evoque as the winner. It has a better design and also a neat interior. The car can perform decently and is also able to be that reliable off-road machine that everyone need. The Porsche Macan is truly great but it is just an oversized sports car.
