Both the latest Range Rover Evoque and Audi Q3 are two of the hottest selling luxury crossovers around. However, between the two, which is better? We have pitted the Audi Q3 quattro S-Tronic S Line with the Range Rover Evoque SDV Pure and here is what we found out.
Looking at the Q3, the car is powered by a 2L TDI engine that develops 182hp and 380Nm of torque. This allows the crossover to sprint from 0-60mph in about 7.3seconds. There is also a top speed of 136mph. Since it runs on diesel, the Q3 is able to return an averaged fuel consumption rate of 43.7mpg.
As for the Evoque, it is powered by a 2.2L 4-cylinder engine. This allows it to generate 187hp and 420Nm of torque. There is also a top speed of 121mph. Despite having more power, the Evoque come short when accelerating. It can complete a 0-60mph sprint in 8.2seconds. There is also a slower top speed of 121mph.
The above basically sums up that the Audi Q3 is the better option. The latter might come out with a smaller capacity engine but it is better in both speed and efficiency.
