Land Rover confirms that the Range Rover Evoque Convertible will be “the most capable convertible in the world”. The SUV will be officially released at the LA Motor Show in November, in advance from the UK sales next spring.
The SUV will be a more fashion accessory than 4×4, but it has the ability to overcome a series of obstacles in a London Crossrail tunnel. Apart from that, the folding fabric roof on the rear deck can be seen to have the style of the MINI Convertible. It will also have a full four-seater layout.
In addition, Land Rover has created the Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) that won’t pop up mischievously in extreme off-road situations. There’s a positive remark on the full-size Range Rover, and the expected price for the Range Rover Evoque Convertible ranges from £40,000.
This only means that Range Rover has lost the floating roofline is supposed to be its trademark. Oh well, sometimes change is good, right?
