A month long delay with no announcement or updates from Nintendo in regards to the Pokebank has caused a massive upset among the Pokemon community, particularly in the US.
As the delay prolongs, the fans are starting to lose their interest for this much anticipated application that allows them to transfer Pokemon from previous generation to the latest, Pokemon X & Y.
One of our readers shared that the delay has allowed him to complete his Living Dex and he sees no need for the Pokebank. If this can be done, then the Pokemon community might see no further use for the Pokebank and won’t rush to get it.
With Pokemon Z expected to come in the near future, many fans feel that it is best to only get the Pokebank with the next Pokemon game if they have already finished or almost finished their Living Dex. It is unsure whether the Pokebank is only applicable for this generation of Pokemon games or will be utilized in future generations as well so as to be required when Z comes out to migrate again. Since it carries an annual subscription, perhaps fans might just get it later.
As the delay grow longer by the second, more fans are getting fed up. It is best for Nintendo to address the matter accordingly or risk losing fans.
