Nissan Leave Customers Rusting, Literally!

The Nissan Altima that was manufactured between 2002 and 2006 has become a subject of controversy after owners reported on a rust issue.

In detail, the Altima is suffering from a rusted floorboard. Some rust were so bad that the floor actually have holes on it. To make things worse, the holes are big enough to fit an average human foot.

One victim was angered by this as she didn’t buy an Altima to drive like a Flinstone car. To add to that, she was actually surprised with how the Altima rust up so quickly.

Thankfully for Nissan, they are able to avoid any probe from NHTSA due to the fact that the rust issue is way past the Altima’s warranty period.

The pain is with the Altima owners which require to spend a lot to get the issue fix. Many felt at first that the rust could be due to the salty coastal air but after learning that the problem affects the Altima from every corner of this great nation makes it clear that it is not environmental.
