The Motorola Moto 360 is a great smartwatch to own and it is going to get better with the future successor, “Smelt”. Of course, Smelt is just a code name used in the device’s development and it is expected to come out with a different name when released.
Rumours are indicating that Smelt will be running on the latest Android 5.1 and it will feature a screen resolution of 360×360. Unfortunately, even the rumours are unable to go into details with Smelt due to the scarcity of information.
Regardless, there is no doubt that Motorola will be launching a successor to the Moto 360 later this year. The company’s president has already confirmed that they will be sticking to annual releases of each one of their product so this confirms that the second-gen Moto 360 is in production.
