It was only recently when Mini went public to announce that they are developing the new Superleggera roadster and now, the German-owned British-based carmaker is being challenged by Mercedes.
In detail, German industry insiders shared that Mercedes-Benz too is developing a new small premium sporty FWD car which will be part of the A-Class family. The mysterious challenger is also tipped to make its debut somewhere in 2017.
Then again, the upcoming A-Class won’t just be competing with the Mini Superleggera Roadster. The insider revealed that the vehicle will also want to challenge the Audi TT. As such, Mercedes is probably calculating the best 4-seat size vehicle to get the job done.
Unfortunately, details on the future A-Class are scarce at the moment so it is best to take the above with a pinch of salt. We have contacted Mereccdes-Benz regarding this but we have yet to receive any response form the prestigious, exclusive, German luxury carmaker.
