The vehicle was unveiled at the recent European Taxi Fair which took place at Cologne, Germany and it will look to do one better than the Toyota Prius.
Prices of the GS300H taxi retails at $48,600 and it is completed with features like automatic transmission, cruise control, 8-inch multi-function display, rearview camera, automatic climate control, leather seats with heating and electric seat and lumbar support adjustment, as standard.
Under the hood, the GS300H is powered by a 220hp 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that comes with an electric motor. This returns 4.7L/100km and C02 emission of only 109g/km.
