For the past 8-years or so, American carmakers have stayed away from Japanese auto shows and this is because they don’t offer good prospect at all. Even so, Jeep still continues to sell their vehicles in the country and this year, sales have improved by 21%.
As such, Jeep has decided to try test their luck by participating at the Tokyo Motor Show happening in weeks from now. The decision made by Jeep has also got Ford, GM and Chrysler to take part at the event as well.
It is truly going to be an interesting Tokyo Motor Show this year as the theme is “Technology & Fantasy”. We can only wonder on the sort of vehicles that Jeep is planning for the motoring event and we are expecting them to unveil the aluminium-made Wrangler.
