Apple is about to release the iPhone 6 and it is one of the most anticipated devices today. With the abundance of leaks and rumours on the iPhone 6, we have decided to compare it with the old Samsung Galaxy S4. Now, let’s find out if the iPhone 6 is as promising as it sounds.
The first major difference between the two devices is the size. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a larger 4.99” screen that produces 441ppi. Surprisingly, this is 35% sharper than the 326ppi produced by the iPhone 6’s 4.7” screen.
Apple promised that the iPhone 6 will have a longer battery life and truly it did. However, the 1,810mAh battery is still not good enough when compared to the Samsung Galaxy S4’s 2,600mAh battery.
Under the case, the S4 is powered by a 1.6GHz 8-Core Samsung Exynos 5 processor with 2GB RAM and PowerVR GPU. The iPhone 6 is equipped with a 2GHz 4-Core processor with 1GB RAM.
As for cameras, the S4 is equipped with a 13MP rear and 2MP front shooter. This is still more remarkable than the 8MP rear and 1.2MP front shooter on the iPhone 6.
On the technical aspects of things, the S4 is still the champion. Then again, the iPhone 6 is not going to be about hardwares. Instead, the upcoming device is built to further optimize the iOS, which is by far the best mobile OS for a smartphone and tablet.
