The Apple iPad Air and the iPad Mini are so alike that nobody has a clue on which tablet is better and worth the purchase. Today, the unanswered will be answered as we decided to compare both the iPad Air, and the iPad Mini, to see which the better table is.
The first major difference between the two tablets is the size, Obviously, the iPad Air is larger as it comes with a 9.7” screen. The large panel on the iPad Air runs at 264ppi. Then there is the iPad Mini which has a smaller 7.9” screen. However, the display is sharper at 324ppi.
Both iPads have the same 10hours battery life and is powered by the same 1.3GHz processor. The two slates from Apple are also equipped with identical 16GB of internal memory. Of course, the iPad Mini is smaller and lighter making it easier to carry around than the iPad Air.
The similarities don’t end there. Both the iPad Air and the iPad Mini has a 5MP rear camera that is capable of recording videos in Full HD. However, it is the Mini that is slightly better as it comes with 4G LTE support.
Then again, the difference between the two tablets is little to none. Deciding on the right tablet requires the user’s preferences and needs. If consumers need a tablet for productivity, there is the iPad Air. If they wish for and all-rounded mobile device, there is the iPad Mini.
