Hyundai has countlessly teased that they are going to produce their first ever pickup truck in the near future. Even at the last Detroit Auto Show, Hyundai unveiled the Santa Cruz Concept which is a pickup truck that is based on a small crossover.
Now, Hyundai’s US chief Dave Zuchowski has come out to share that the Santa Cruz Concept is going to step into production. The lad added that things are still unconfirmed the moment but the company is showing a great deal of interest for the pickup truck.
Dave concluded by claiming that he expects production of the Santa Cruz to commence within the next decade and it is aimed at being fuel efficient. When the Santa Cruz arrives, it will be competing with the Honda Ridgeline.
