It is no secret that the Volkswagen Beetle is rapidly losing its market appeal and to even so, the German carmaker is reluctant to drop their classy line of cars. In fact, VW even shared that they will continue to develop the Beetle and there will be a new model coming out in three years’ time.
However, if Volkswagen with to succeed and turn the Beetle into a hot seller like how it was in the past, then it will have to return to the basics. By this we mean that the next-gen Beetle have to be more affordable and more reliable than before.
In addition to that, the next-gen Beetle needs to drop the silver or grey colour code and come out with plenty of colour options. After all, the old classic Beetle are made to be colourful cars that are both cheap to own yet reliable for general use.
The aim here is for Volkswagen to produce a Beetle that is far better than the Kia Soul. After all, most of the Beetle lovers have ported over to the hatchback from South Korea due to its similar appeal and better pricing.
