Airbag developer and supplier, Takata, is under a lot of heat at the moment after it became the root problem for over 7.8 million vehicles in America. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is currently investigating the company to understand why the safety parts are malfunctioning.
On the downside of things, Takata’s CEO, Shigehisa Takada, is nowhere to be found in this world. The lad refused to go public and tackle the issue head on. Instead, Takada sends out the company’s chief financial officer to represent him on any meetings.
The fact that the CEO is missing left us with our eyebrows raised in curiosity. The company is under a lot of pressure after a series of cases where the airbag inflators exploded in a vehicle. Could there be foul play or weapon testing being conducted by Takata?
Of course, we are not alleging anything. We are just referencing the many action-packed Hollywood movies. Regardless, let’s hope the issue comes to an end soon.
