Ford will be calling off its connections with Microsoft and will team up with Blackberry instead, in developing the voice-recognition software Sync 3.
Although Microsoft will be doing the updates of Sync 3, the official developer that will be handling all future matters would be Blackberry. Sync 3 is already in its last stage of development, and will be estimated for a release next year.
The new infotainment system (replacing MyFord Touch) will be making big waves, as it will be debuting at the 2016 Lincoln and Ford vehicles.
