Fiat Brazil welcomes the Toro pickup truck, which was spotted at the beginning of the month at the assembly line at the Pernambuco factory in Brazil. The truck is a range-topping model with LED daytime running lights, fog lights, numerous chrome accents and aluminium underbody protection.
Details are limited at the moment, but Fiat Brazil says that the pickup is 4915 mm long and can lift up to five people and 1, 000 kg. Furthermore, the Fiat Toro is said to be based on the Jeep Renegade which comes with 138 horsepower 1.8-liter and 170 horsepower 2.0-liter diesel.
Fiat Toro is available in both manual and automatic gearbox, providing power to the front wheels or to an optional AWD arrangement. The full reveal of the production-ready Fiat Toro is estimated to happen soon, and sales will begin late this year to early 216.
There will be three trims available for the Brazilian market, which are Country, Urban and Adrenaline. The base-model comes with 16-inch wheels and can be used only with the flex fuel engine, while the mid-range model also gets the six-speed auto with diesel.
