Elio might not be a major car manufacturer but they do have a vision of the future and in it, there is a trike that will cater well to solo drivers worldwide.
Elio unveiled a concept model of the unnamed trike and the small orange car is towed by a 0.9L 3-cylinder engine that returns a whopping 84mpg of average fuel rating.
While average Americans are fairly supportive for the development of fuel-savvy vehicles, the trike is viewed by scrutiny by most car enthusiasts in the nation.
This is because of the fact that the Elio trike has been on the news for many years now and there is still no results whatsoever from their development. This is despite of the fact that Elio has announced $6,800 for the trike’s price tag and 40,000 individuals have booked the car.
Elio can make any claims they want but the car enthusiasts are not buying it. They fear that paying the $6,800 fee will get them into an endless wait for a trike that only exists in reports.
