Dodge has been on a roll this last couple of years after the carmaker reduced the price of its vehicles which then leads to a sharp incline in sales. Now, this momentum is shattered after Dodge was forced to make a recall of its SRT Hellcat Challengers and Chargers yesterday.
In detail, about 2,211 units of the 2015-model-year Charger and Challenger coupe were recalled due to a suspect fuel leak issue that came from production. The issue was identified by FCA and their engineers shared that they found “improperly installed” hose seals.
On the upside of things, the issue has yet to cause any mishaps to Challenger and Charger owners. However, this does not mean that the matter should be taken lightly and owners of the aforementioned vehicles should get their car checked at the nearest Dodge service centre.
